These terms cover your use of preppa.is and any Preppa subscription. By placing an order you agree to them.
The subscription
A Preppa subscription is billed weekly and renews automatically until you cancel. Your week locks at 20:00 on Thursday; changes, pauses and cancellations made before that apply to the following week, and anything after it applies the week after.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Icelandic króna and include VAT. Your card is charged on the morning your delivery week begins. We may change prices with at least 14 days' notice, which never affects a week already paid for.
Delivery
We deliver Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 16:00 and 21:00 in the capital region. If nobody is home we leave the order in an insulated cool bag at your door. Food left outside beyond the delivery window is at your own risk.
Food safety and allergens
Meals are cooked fresh and keep for four days refrigerated. Every dish is labelled with its allergens, but our kitchen handles gluten, dairy, egg, fish, shellfish, soy, nuts and sesame, so we cannot guarantee any dish is free of traces.
Problems with an order
Tell us within 24 hours of delivery and we will refund or replace anything that arrived in poor condition. Because meals are perishable and made to order there is no general right of withdrawal once a week has been cooked.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or anything else that cannot be limited under Icelandic law. Otherwise our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected delivery.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Icelandic law, and disputes fall to the District Court of Reykjavík.
